Velez: “I am honored and incredibly grateful to have received this award. First off, thank you to all the users. The countless words of encouragement and people contacting us to let us know how the programs have helped them makes it all worthwhile. Thank you to the entire O.R. and TICU teams and the dozens of other residents and physicians who have helped contribute to make these programs a success.”
